Our staff team of 12 stayed at the Angels Envy Bourbon Retreat Cabin, and it was absolutely perfect for our group! The cabin is spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped for large groups. The open-concept kitchen was a huge highlight — plenty of space for cooking and gathering together. We also loved that the bedrooms were on a different level from the main entertaining and gathering spaces — it gave everyone the ability to rest while others stayed up playing games or hanging out.
The pool and hot tub were both fantastic and provided the perfect spot to relax after our sessions. There were plenty of areas for everyone to spread out, but also great spaces for us to come together as a team. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a refreshing and productive retreat.
Highly recommend this cabin for any group looking for a mix of comfort, fun, and togetherness — it exceeded our expectations!.
We used Makers Lodge for a 4-day company outing and it was the perfect spot. The property had so much to do—pool, fire pit, outdoor gathering area—and the secluded setting made it quiet and relaxing. Everything was well-maintained, and we never felt crowded.
On top of that, we were close to great local activities like zip lining and UTV tours, all within 20–30 minutes of the lodge. Between the amenities on-site and the nearby attractions, it truly made for the ideal getaway. Highly recommend!.
Our cabin trip was absolutely amazing! The house itself was beautiful, clean, and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. We loved the layout and the amenities—it truly felt like a home away from home. The weather couldn’t have been better, which made it perfect for enjoying the outdoor activities, relaxing by the pool, and soaking up the peaceful surroundings.
From mornings out doors to evenings filled with laughter, we made so many unforgettable memories with family and friends. This trip was everything we hoped for and more, and we would definitely book again without hesitation!.
This place is amazing. We’ve stayed in hocking hills many times but this one is by far our favorite. We stayed at the Woodford and the kids loved the private pond and looking at the fish, the private walk to the hammock area, and our own private (and warm) dip pool.
The shower was huge and the cabin was luxurious with high end finishes. It was super clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable which never happens when we stay places.
Kids loved the theater room and slept like babies! We will be back!.
The house and the grounds were beautiful. Clean, spacious and a ton of fun! The movie theater was incredible and the outside patio complete with hot tub was fantastic. We had a great weekend and would love to return soon.
